For this role, the company is recruiting on behalf of a leading telecommunications provider seeking to expand its retail and agent network in Mwingi.


Job Purpose

The Trade Development Representative (TDR) will focus on channel visitations to improve retailer awareness, boost SIM card sales, and manage float levels. The role also involves ensuring strong visibility and merchandising standards at point-of-sale locations for SSOs and T-Kash agents.

The position reports directly to the Area Sales Manager and requires frequent field visits.


Key Responsibilities

1Identify and recruit agents targeting mobile money outlets and high-traffic retail stores.
2Visit SSOs and agents regularly using approved route plans.
3Provide business tools and train agents on operational processes.
4Conduct AML and KYC training for agents and SSOs.
5Monitor float levels and enforce stock requirements.
6Ensure SSOs maintain adequate SIM stock for registrations and activations.
7Develop and maintain merchandising standards at agent outlets.
8Improve retailer awareness and drive SIM and float sales.
