Job Purpose

The Senior Specialist, MEAL will support monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning activities across global programs. The role involves strengthening MEAL systems, improving data quality, supporting program design, and ensuring learning is shared across regions.

The position supports global teams during program start-ups, transitions, emergencies, and scale-up phases.


Key Responsibilities

2Support regional and global MEAL teams with program implementation
3Align country MEAL plans with global standards and frameworks
4Contribute to project and program design and proposals
5Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency
6Conduct data quality checks and validation processes
7Support development of MEAL tools, guidance, and training materials
8Assist in global MEAL workshops and learning events
9Support onboarding and mentoring of MEAL staff
10Participate in global MEAL networks and communities of practice
11Promote accountability to communities across programs
12Collaborate with regional and global MEAL teams

Job Requirements
